Late Peter Bunor
The remains of Mr Peter Bunor, the veteran Nollywood Actor who died on 2nd May 2015 was laid to rest today in his home town Ogwashi Uku after a funeral service conducted by some clergymen of Anglican Diocese of Asaba led by Ven Augustine Azuh

In his sermon at the service, the Archdeacon of Ogwashi Uku Archdeaconry, Ven Christian Okonkwor posited that every human being has a limit to live here on earth which is determined by God alone. Quoting from the book of Job 14:1 - 6 and 39:14, the man of God said that God has determined how long we live and not even our money can extend it. He reminded the congregation that after all the struggles of life, we have account to render. He summed up by urging everyone to repent of their sin so that they will have a good account to give before God. Prayers were said for the family and the people present.
In his remarks and appreciation, the Bishop of Asaba Diocese Anglican Communion who is the brother in law of late Mr Peter Bunor thanked all present especially those that contributed immensely to the success of the burial activities. He gave testimony of late Mr Peter Bunor's repentance and family reconciliation before his death. The body was later interred in front of his house at Ogwashi Uku.
Among the people present were a good number of clergy and wives of Anglican Diocese of Asaba, the Chancellor of Anglican Diocese of Asaba and the wife, Hon Justice & Ezinne Frank Nwulu (KSC), some Diocesan officials, the Rector Ogwashi Uku Polytechnic and her husband, some students of the Polytechnic among others. The only notable actor from Nollywood industry present at the time of the service was Mr Emmanuel Emordi who incidentally is from Ogwashi Uku as late Mr Peter Bunor.
Peter Bunor is survived by the wife, children, grand children, brothers, sisters and other relations including Mrs Theresa Mogekwu, the wife of the Bishop of Asaba Diocese. May the soul of Peter Bunor rest in peace. Amen.
