Kesha, the Tik Tok singer, given the go-ahead to perform at the Billboard Awards

Kesha's performance will go ahead

In a turn of events, the Tik Tok singer has been told she can go ahead with the performance at the awards as planned

Kesha has been pictured waving and smiling to her fans, after it was confirmed she WILL perform at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

The 29-year-old star looked in good spirits as she was snapped at Los Angeles International Airport, showing off her style in a trendy hat.

She covered up in printed flared trousers and a jacket, and carried a huge statement turquoise handbag.

At one point, the blonde beauty stopped to wave to her loyal fans and the cameras, clearly overjoyed that she'll be performing tomorrow night as originally planned, after being given approval by Dr Luke's record label.

Kemosabe withdrew their permission for the Tik Tok star to sing at the event amid their high-profile dispute.

But in a turn of events, they have now "restored approval" after gaining "reassurance" there will be no mention of the court battle.

A statement from Kemosabe read: "Kesha's performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith.

"Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation.

"Now that Kemosabe has obtained assurances, that it is relying upon, from Kesha, her representatives and Dick Clark Productions that neither Kesha nor her supporters will use the performance as such a platform, the approval has been restored."

Kesha, 29, claimed producer Dr Luke had sexually and mentally abused her - allegations he strongly denied.

The singer previously insisted her planned performance of Bob Dylan's 'It Ain't You Babe' at the ceremony, which takes place on May 22, had nothing to do with her dispute with Luke.

She said: "I was very excited to perform a tribute to Bob Dylan by singing a cover of 'It ain't me, babe' at the Billboard awards this year. I'm very sad and sorry to say I won't be allowed to do this.

Dr Luke has denied all allegations
"I just wanted to make very clear that this performance was about me honoring one of my favorite songwriters of all time and has never had anything at all to do with Dr. Luke.

"I was never going to use a picture of him, speak of him or allude to my legal situation in any way.

"I simply wanted to sing a song I love to honor an artist I have always looked up to. thank u all for the continued support. (sic)"
